Here are Some of the Cheapest Travel Destinations

This post may contain affiliate links

If you’re going to travel, you aren’t always going to be able to splash the cash. Some destinations in this beautiful world we live in are just so expensive, so they really are a once in a lifetime treat.

We are planning on going to Jamaica this year and I can tell you that it won’t be cheap but it’s our once in a lifetime treat.

But when you’re trying to plan a holiday, sometimes you’re just after a little time away where you don’t have to do much, don’t have to spend much, and you just have a good time. Fortunately, there are a few destinations like this, some will be more surprising than others. If you’re looking to do things on the cheap, these are the destinations for you!

Prague

Prague is a truly stunning place to visit. It’s rich in history and culture, and that’s what most people flock there for. It’s also a place so popular for stag and hen parties, purely because it’s filled with bars serving cheap drinks and food. The drinks are actually some of the cheapest in the world, so the spending money you need to take is actually so minimal. There are some absolutely amazing restaurants serving mouth-watering food, and even then you won’t be paying much!

Make sure you walk around all of the old towns and take in the traditional culture of the country. Prague castle is one of the places you should visit. It’s so grand and such a good place to have a look around. St. Vitus Cathedral should also be on your list if you love the culture and architecture of other countries.

Canada

Canada is definitely on my bucket list of places to travel to. I’ve got friends and family there and I’ve heard so many positive things going for that country. Yes, you can go all the way to Canada and hardly spend a penny! Canada is one of the best countries you can visit purely due to their kind nature and hospitality. No matter where you stay, you’ll be treated as though you’re one of their own.

Places such as Delta Hotels Barrington has some of the best customer service there is and is just one of the many cheap hotels you’ll be able to find during your stay. The only thing you might find that you pay a lot for is the flights, but that’s only because it’s a long-haul flight. There are ways around it though.

First, make sure you’re comparing between different sites, not just the main airline operator themselves. Secondly, going slightly out of season, even just by 2 weeks will get you cheaper flights. My biggest tip for you to get the flights cheaper is going through Topcashback! It’s easy to just download the app and check the discount prices they have. You are never going to buy a long-haul flight ticket again without going through Topcashback first. When you’ve got that worry out the way with, all you need to do is plan which of the amazing attractions you want to do on each day. Tip, make sure you take a trip to Vancouver.

Turkey

It’s a bit hit and miss whether people actually want to go to Turkey, but it’s one of the cheapest destinations there is. My sister went to Marmaris in Turkey a few years back and said it was one of the best holidays ever!

Those who go absolutely fall in love with it, and often return year on year. Those who don’t don’t know what they’re missing out on. Even the big package holiday brands sell holidays to Turkey for cheap, and there’s plenty to do whilst you’re there. Whether you want a fun day at the waterpark or a relaxing afternoon at the beach, it has it all!

You know this list could go on and on, right? Well, where would you say are the cheapest holiday destinations? I can’t wait to hear from you so I can continue this list.

Let me know what fun things you get up to too.

See what frugal things we did this week.
