Living Life While Squeezing Lemons: a book Launch

I’m so excited, I could burst! SCROLL TO THE BOTTOM FOR AN EXCITING UPDATE!

To celebrate our 100 years on planet earth, we are doing a book launch of our brand new, first book: Living Life While Squeezing Lemons. I know I’m saying it myself but it is pretty awesome indeed!

Meet us and send us some love, won’t you?

Authors Jo and Leisa are twins who blog at joleisa.com and this month they launch their first book which will be available on Kindle soon.

We have come a long way ‘from the sandy shores of Jamaica’ according to blogger Diona Culbertson, to full-fledged teachers, bloggers and now authors Living in cold Birmingham, England! God is good.

The book is a gist of our combined ideas including tips, inspiration, a belly full of laughs and personal experiences of what it is like to deal with negatives but in a positive way. We like to think always of the glass being half full rather than half empty. In other words, we prefer to focus on the positives rather than on the negatives.

We understand that from time to time life will present us with challenges; these are what we call lemons. In the book, we offer practical ways to meet these challenges and come out victorious and ready to face the next challenge.

We have asked a few treasured folk to read the book before the launch and give us some feedback. Here are a few testimonials:

Julie Hage, blogger and author of the book The One Focus Method:

‘Living Life While Squeezing Lemons’ is like a fresh burst of Jamaican sunshine on a dreary winter day. Jo and Leisa’s stories are funny and inspiring……a must read!

Carlton Jackson, Teacher:

What I like about ‘Living Life While Squeezing Lemons’ is that these ladies definitely have the knack of balancing things. I mean there is this serious side to them when discussing matters of faith and then just so chilled when offering advice on how not to take things so seriously! ‘I’ve experienced a range of emotions just reading this book!

Vivienne Salmon: Accountant

I know these girls from back in Jamaica, and they are just as funny now as they were then. My favourite part was ‘Olympics in Jamaica’. It’s such a pleasure to be part of their progress. Lovely read and would highly recommend.

So there you go. We are not the only ones who think it is awesome. We think you will too.

You are invited to join us in celebrating the launch of the book as well as our 50th birthday. Get a glass of your favourite bubbly and join us on December 22. We will be live on Facebook and who knows, you might be a winner on the day. All you have to do is send us a live comment while we are on. First, you must send us a Facebook friend request to Joleisa Creed. We will definitely add you and you can join the launch party.

Until then, smile and even sing along, while squeezing lemons.
