Our Amazing Holiday With Free Spending Money

This post may contain affiliate links

We have just returned from the most amazing holiday ever! Now we are so tired and it seems like we need to get another holiday to allow us some rest before we get back to work again. Lol.

You know the feeling! Luckily we have a few more days to relax at home before we start work again. But I just thought I would share with you how we managed this amazing holiday with free spending money. After all, sharing is caring. I will share with you the very tips and sites that we used to earn the free money and also the pics of the amazing time we had together.

We went to Morocco, a really beautiful country with the most amazing array of spices, healing oils, and the people, oh the people are so warm and accommodating. We experienced true hospitality Moroccon style and we would definitely recommend a trip to the country if you have not been before.

We stayed at the Aquamirage hotel. It was billed as a 4-star hotel and it really did not disappoint. The weather was amazing with the temperature ranging from 19 – 26 degrees whilst we were there in December! How about that! It was a great escape for us because in Britain over the same period, the temperature ranged from 6 – 9 degrees during the same period. We definitely preferred to be in the sunshine and warmth.

Getting free spending money before the holiday

Before we booked the holiday, we took the decision to work on our side hustles in earnest because the spending money for all five of us for the holiday would come from the side hustles. I am pleased to say that we managed to keep to this for the most part.

We also got some income from things we sold like personalized drinking flasks, crotcheted items, and bathroom accessories. Oh yes, we did them ourselves.

Blankets all done in our spare time as we find that so relaxing.

So cute, and useful. Don’t you think?

The rest of the holiday spending money came from things like doing online surveys. Each of us does surveys from various sites. It is such a big no brainer and yet there are so many people who don’t know that this is readily available to them.

So I thank whoever it was who first told me about taking online surveys. We have made so much FREE money over the years, honestly! If you are reading this post right now and you would like to earn free money, click on each link and sign up to the survey sites and you could start earning free money in your spare time. Gone are the days when we just sit and waste time. If I am waiting outside of school for 3 or 5 minutes, then I can do a short survey and earn money and believe me, it all adds up. So stop losing out.

The biggest survey site earners for us have been:

  • QMEE and prolific. From both these sites, I make about 60 pounds per month, sometimes more and sometimes a little less. But that is an amazing £720 pounds a year of just free money! Isn’t that amazing? Well then, multiply that by 5 (as there are 5 of us in the family).
  • Curious Cat is another survey site that we use. Now with every one of the sites there are advantages and disadvantages. The biggest advantage, of course, is that they all pay cash which I love.

With Curious Cat, sometimes you are not allowed to finish a survey for whatever reason but you are still given at least one point which you can hoard along with your other points until you have enough that you want to transfer to your PayPal account and from there to your bank account.

  • Receipt Hog is another useful site. On this one, you use your receipts from your shopping. You scan the receipts in the app( using your phone) and you get points which add up until you are ready to cash out. I love this one because you can use any receipt as long as they have an address, store name and date on them. What a super-easy way to earn extra money!
  • Shoppix is another receipt snapping app which is similar to Receipt Hog. With this one though, you can’t enter two receipts from the same store per day. That is a little annoying because I sometimes have 2, 3 or even 4 receipts from the same store, (wink wink!) Lol.

There are many other sites that allow you to earn extra money. Now you might be thinking why so many, well because the more you have, the more money you are likely to make.

Also, sometimes some of the sites have no surveys available so you have to move on to another one. So I say as long as you have the space available on your devices, download the surveys and receipt sites and start earning what I love to call FREE money. What is stopping you? And you can be sure that the more new sites I learn about, the more I will share with you and if you learn of any more too, please feel free to share with us in the comments.

Now relax and enjoy the photos from our amazing holiday to Morocco with free spending money.

Free spending money

It was such a brilliant chance to experience warmth and sunshine at Christmas. It was such fun. And even while relaxing at the poolside, we were still able to do surveys to pass the time.

One of the things we looked forward to seeing in Marrakech was the display of herbs and spices. We were not disappointed at all!
