Get a move on. Valentine’s is not far from here! Do you even have a valentine?
If you ask me what I would love to have as a valentine gift, I can’t tell you off hand. What I do know that I don’t want are some of the gifts we used to get years ago. I cringe now thinking about them. Who would want a head scarf, a man’s watch (I’m clearly a lady) and some talcum powder? Well those are some of the things I used to get, lol. Well maybe I’m one of the hard to please ones. Would you be happy with gifts like those from your valentine?
This post does contain affliliate links. The cost to you, should you choose to purchase an item, will not change.
I know for many, knowing what to get that special one is a challenge. What would they like? Better yet, what would they really love that you can afford to get. This might lead you to think back to gifts you have given previously and how they were received. I know some people give a big show of appreciation when they receive a gift but based on how they have used or not used the gift over time will give you some indication of whether or not they in fact liked and appreciate the gift.
What a dilemma! So what do you do? Well one fail safe idea is to give a gift certificate if you are definitely unsure of what to get. If you think that is not personal enough, then you might want to consider what I have researched for you. There are some amazing valentine gifts available which will show that you have given great thought (wink) to the likes and tastes of the recipient.
Say I love you with jewellery.
For those who like jewellery the sky is the limit. I really like these heart shaped pendant with Swarovski crystals. They look classy and yet don’t cost too much. Have a look. The cost is definitely not a hindrance.
If your loved one likes the colour red, loves heart shapes and jewellery, then I have found you all three wrapped up in this red crystal Swarovski heart shaped pendant with FREE necklace. What’s not to love? The same pendant, but in blue is also available with a necklace included.
For those who like jewellery but prefer not to wear it around their neck then you might want to consider bangles.
This classy bangle with swarovski element is a heart warmer I tell you. No one would be disappointed to receive this truly delightful gift. This too with its radiant beauty will leave you spoilt for choice.
And just in case you want to buy the man in your life a suitable piece of jewellery then consider these:
Love you to the end necklace set (2 pieces, one for him and one for her, just so you get in on the deal too).
This cool blue adjustable link bracelet for men is an absolute charmer. Absolutely irresistible!
If your special someone has lots of jewellery then you might want to consider a suitable receptacle to hold all those jewellery. I’ve found you some really classy ones.
A mini chest of drawer just for jewellery! What more could anyone ask for? That is if they have already got lots of jewellery. This is the perfect gift for them as it serves a real purpose to help them organise and put away their favourite pieces of jewellery.
This stunning silver plated heart shaped jewellery box will tick all the boxes on Valentines day. I can give you my word of honour that this will definitely please!
There are a number of other ways that you can say I love you, other than by way of jewellery. So I have found some gift ideas that will say ‘I love you’ just as well.
Cuddly soft I love you cushion. This is so cute! Who could resist! This would serve as a long time reminder of love and affection.
To some, nothing says I love you better than chocolate. So this is sure to please. Lindt delectable chocolate in a in a heart shaped box. How sweet! Literally!
Now this has got to be the most adorable valentine gift. It’s a crystal glass teddy bear in a poem box.
So there you go. I hope you would agree that I have sourced some real gems for you. So if your loved one is hard to please (like me) or if you have left it too late to find the perfect gift for valentines, then click on the links above and bag yourself something suitable for your loved one that does not break the bank.
Happy Valentines. And do think of me when it comes to time for me to open mine. *rolls eyes once again!

You have lots of options for gifts. Here in Korea, the woman will give the man chocolate on February and she has to wait until March 14 to get something in return. I was a little upset when my husband told me that. Hehe.

I love to give gifts that are either handmade, or are unique and have personal meaning to those receiving them, it makes the giving even more special to me!
