How to Make Money Just Using Your Phone or Computer

This post may contain affiliate links

If you think that making money is difficult, think again. It turns out that there are dozens of people all doing odd jobs on their devices in their spare time, and getting paid handsomely for it.

It does take a bit of consistent effort on your part but it is 100% doable. Check out some of the ways we were able to make some money and even take a holiday using free money.

But how do you actually make money on your phone? Let’s find out what you can do.

Take Part In Surveys

Companies are often willing to pay a small amount of cash for people to take part in surveys. These are for companies that want to find out what the level of demand is like for their products, or what people think about their brand.

Surveys are something that you can do while listening to music or watching television. You can take part in them as much or as little as you need to earn a little extra pocket money on the side, besides your main job.

I personally don’t like waiting so if I find myself waiting in line, for the dentist or doctor, or even sitting at home waiting on the phone, I like to get on with some QMEE surveys. Use my affiliate link to sign up and earn money for completing surveys there or for doing your regular Internet search and shopping online.

Leverage Your Content

If you have a social media following, you might be able to leverage your content, just making money on your phone. For instance, many people use their Instagram and TikTok accounts by attracting sponsorships. All you need to do is to partner with brands that relate to yours. For instance, if you run a beauty blog, skincare product companies might want you to do articles for them, explaining their products and your experience with them.

If you have a blog, there are many ways to make your blog work for you. We got a TV role as a result of starting our blog, and you definitely could too.

In many cases, you can make money for very little effort, particularly if you have a sizable following. Try not to be overly promotional but still give each product a fair shake.

Sell Your Junk

If you have a lot of things lying around your home that you no longer need, you can try making money by simply selling your stuff. It’s surprisingly easy to do. A lot of people sell their unwanted stuff on sites like eBay and Depop.

Start by making sure that you have all the relevant software. Ensure that you’re all up to date by reading this post.

Then start selling items via multiple channels, seeing if you have any luck with any of them. For local sales, you might want to check out Gumtree, while for longer-distance sales, your best bet is probably eBay. You can also list on directories, such as Craigslist if you know that your target audience uses that app.

Work Freelance Jobs

Freelance jobs are great because you can pick them up whenever you want to earn a little extra money. Upwork, Fiverr and others are all options and provide gigs for thousands of people.

It’s not regular work, mind you. But thanks to the way the market works, there is nearly always somebody interested in the skills that you sell You earn an hourly rate, and can do pretty much anything, from moving furniture to writing blog articles.

Use the skills and talents you have

If you are skilled at even relaxing crafts, you can do it and use your phone or computer to advertise so that you can make money. Painting, crocheting, knitting, and baking are some of the ideas here. I am sure you can think of others.

Conduct Marketing Calls

Companies often want people to call around their customers and prospects and sell to them. Again, thanks to VoIP, it’s usually something that you can do either from your phone or computer. You’ll receive an hourly rate plus commission for every sale that you make. Some salespeople can make a lot of money if they get good at it.

There are many unconventional jobs that are out there and you can certainly try your hand at doing something that you enjoy and can do on your phone or computer to make money.
